GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE OF CHIC TIME

THE SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The stated general conditions of sale apply to all sales concluded through the website www.chic-time.fr and only to private customers.

No Individual can take advantage of these conditions of sale and must necessarily make themselves known to our services to access our range of products.

We consider that by validating your order, you unreservedly accept our general conditions of sale after having read them.

The present general conditions of sale as well as the prices are expressly approved and accepted by the purchaser, who declares and acknowledges having a perfect knowledge of them, and renounces. Therefore, to waive any contradictory documents and, in particular, their own terms of purchase. The present conditions are modifiable at any time and without prior notice.

By accessing the site, you agree to abide by the General Terms and conditions.

PRICE

All prices are indicated in Euros net gross and, not including delivery fees. They can be modified at any time without advance notice, knowing that articles will be charged on the current base to the recording of the order and subject to availability. All orders are invoiced in euros and payable in euros.

SHIPPING FEES

Shipping costs are free for France. For all other geographic areas, charges apply in addition to the price of the order, depending on the shipping method. We will not be able to combine two separate orders, thus, the shipping costs will be invoiced to you for each order.

Your watch will be sent in careful packaging which guarantees protection against shock and humidity. The delivery period, generally observed, is from 2 to 5 working days (depending on the selected delivery method).

AVAILABILITY

Our product offers and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the site, within the limits of available stocks. For products that are not stored in our warehouse, our offers are valid and subject to availability at our service providers.

After placing your order, in case of unavailability of the product, we will be informing you through email as soon as possible. An equivalent item will be offered to you or, if applicable, we will credit your account within 10 days so that you can place a new order.

VALIDATION

Any order validation implies acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale.

Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by CHIC TIME constitutes proof of all transactions made by CHIC TIME and its customers.

CHIC TIME reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order or who would present for it in any form of risk.

SECURE PAYMENT

No order can be placed by phone

You have several payment methods offering that guarantees a maximum of security. You can pay by:

- Credit Card (Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard): You must indicate the number of your card, as well as the expiry date, directly in the zone provided for this purpose.

- PayPal You must have a PayPal account, indicate your associated email address and your PayPal confidential code.

For security reasons, we don't accept Paypal payments over 800€ for customers living outside European Union.

DELIVERY

The products are delivered to the delivery address you provided during the ordering process. The average delivery time of the products mentioned "in stock" is 1 to 6 working days for France and 3 to 8 working days for the international. The average delivery time of the products mentioned "available" is 7 to 10 working days for France and internationally, some deliveries may take up to 15 days.

Orders for specific products that we must order from our suppliers which are displayed "Available" on the site, are not cancellable.

CHIC TIME cannot be held responsible for late delivery or non-delivery in the event that the customer has not provided a complete and correct delivery address. The return of a package that could not be delivered due to a lack of information in the delivery address will be charged.

Warning:

Delivery with signature may be appealed against in the event of a dispute.

In the event of items deliverable on different dates taking into account their availability, the delivery time is based on the longest time. CHIC TIME however reserves the right to split deliveries. Participation in handling and shipping costs will only be charged for a single shipment. CHIC TIME cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery.

Upon receipt of your order, we recommend that you check the condition of your pacakage/order in the presence of the delivery person. For a complaint to be admissible, it must be mentioned in writing upon receipt of the package. We recommend that you notify CHIC TIME if necessary.

LATE DELIVERY

In the event of a delay in delivery compared to the date initially set, the buyer must report it to allow CHIC TIME to establish an investigation with the transport company.

An investigation with a carrier can take up to 21 working days. If during this period, the product is found, it will be immediately forwarded to the domicile of the purchaser or to the address mentioned on the order form.

Regarding packages delivered with signature, if the ordered product is not found at the end of this 21-day investigation period, CHIC TIME will ask the customer to provide a handwritten sworn statement of non-receipt of the product, as well as a copy of his identity document.

RETRACTATIONS, EXCHANGES

Chic Time gives you a period of 14 days, starting from the time you have placed your order. In this context, you will benefit, particularly, from a right of return: Whatever the reason is.

The products must be returned in perfect condition and free of all damage (packaging, accessories, instructions, box, etc.)

The shipping cost are not refundable.

Items returned scratched, incomplete, damaged, or soiled by the Customer will not be taken back, exchanged or reimbursed. The costs of the returned item(s) is/are the responsibility of the customer.

In case you forget or lose the box during return, repackaging costs will be charged.

We advise you to return the goods to us by registered mail (with acknowledgment of receipt) and possibly take out insurance from the carrier for the market value of the products.

Orders over 450 EUR will only be subject to a credit on the customer account.

 
In the event of a request for reimbursement of the goods, we guarantee that we will carry out this process by the means of payment initially used within a period of less than or equal to 10 days following the date of receipt of the returned package. No cash on delivery will be accepted, whatever the reason. In the case of an order made with a voucher or gift voucher, only the refund will be made (re-credit of the voucher for the initial amount).

Return procedure:

Before returning your goods, it is strongly advised to follow our return procedure, which will allow us to process your request as efficiently as possible.

GUARANTEE

The items provided by CHIC TIME are new and authentic. They are identical to those of the traditional trade. If it happened that an item(s) is/are defective or not in good condition, we commit ourselves to exchange it, repair it or refund it, provided that it is returned to us in its original packing, accompanied by the corresponding invoice by registered post.

THE GUARANTEE OF YOUR WATCH COVERS:

- The movement.

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

- The battery and its life span.

- Leakage problems.

- Damage to glass, bracelet, dial, hands, and push button.

- Normal wear and tear and ageing (scratches, alteration of the color and/or material of the straps: leather, textile, rubber, metal, and chains.)

- Damage resulting from external cause to the product (accident, shock, immersion, etc.)

- Impairment caused by negligence resulting from incorrect or abusive use, lack of care, accidents (blows, scratches, dents, crushing, glass breakage, etc.), or failure to observe the instructions for use.

Important - Understanding the water-resistance of your watch

The water-tightness indicates a theoretical depth according to laboratory tests. In real conditions (swimming, diving, shocks, etc.), a watch is subjected to sudden movements and temperature change sufficient to vary the internal pressure, which is the main cause of infiltration.

Conditions of use of your watch

A water resistant watch varies greatly depending on its use. Based on our experience, we have drawn up this table of correspondence between the water-resistance announced by the manufacturer and really adequate conditions of use.

The mechanism of watches is made of metal parts. Ideally it should not come into contact with water.

Aging of the gaskets and accidental shocks may affect the water-resistance of your watch. We recommend having your watch checked once a year by a watchmaking workshop.

All the original packaging and all the original documents must be presented and handed in at any time, otherwise the guarantee will not be valid.

In any case, CHIC TIME cannot be held responsible in the event of the manufacturer's refusal to apply its guarantee for the reasons set out above.

In the event of non assumption of responsibility for the repair, the manufacturer will establish an estimate that CHIC TIME will communicate to the Customer.

Sunglasses, leather goods and jewelry are not covered by warranty.

Claim

All claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of your order. After this time frame, any defect reported will be considered as due to the use of the product.

RIGHT OF ACCESS AND RECTIFICATION

Concerned about the protection of your privacy, CHIC TIME treats all information about you with the strictest confidentiality.

During your purchases, we only ask you essential information (name, first name, address, email) for a quality treatment and a careful follow-up of your order. These data entered online are saved on a secure server and are immediately encrypted.

You have the right to access and rectify data concerning you.

CANCELLATION

The buyer may cancel the order in its entirety before shipment. However, charges may be applied if the order has already been shipped.

Customers outside Europe may get a credit directly on their Chic Time account only.

Products on backorder ( with leadtime showed on the order confirmation ) cannot be cancelled.

Sale to professionals

Chic Time is a retailer that sells exclusively to individuals. It is however possible for a professional to place an order online. The conditions are the same as for private customers, with the exception of the right of withdrawal which will not apply in this case.

Will be considered as a professional, any buyer who:

- Will place more than 10 articles within a limit of one month and for an amount equivalent or equal to 2000 €

- Will use several accounts in order to purchase products limited to individuals and within the limit of 10 articles per month and for an amount equivalent or equal to 2000 € including tax

The notion of professional is clearly defined by European regulations, in particular in article 2 of directive 2005/29/EC of May 11, 2005.

All the texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on the CHIC TIME website are reserved under copyright as well as intellectual property and for the whole world.

Any total or partial reproduction of the CHIC TIME website is strictly prohibited.

COMMENT, CRITICISM, COMMUNICATION

All reviews submitted by CHIC TIME Users are monitored and moderated by the marketing team. If the comments violate the law and ethics (abusive advertising, defamatory comments, insults, comments out of context, etc.) CHIC TIME reserves the right to refuse or modify the opinion concerned.
